When higher education is opted for, it is with the intention to acquire the required skills and knowledge to pursue the career of choice. However, if it is not supported by a credible certification from a recognised institution, the education and degree obtained might as well be void. Looks like that might be the case with 35 educational institutions in Telangana.
While Delhi tops the list with 66 such colleges, Telangana comes next with 35 colleges that are found to have been offering engineering and technical courses without the required approvals from All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
The information was revealed when Minister of State for Human Resource Development Satya Pal Singh responded to a query raised by three other MPs in the recent Lok Sabha session on Monday, July 30.
