Muslims across Madhya Pradesh and Bihar celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr with prayers, charity, and festive spirit following the end of Ramadan. In Bhopal, the festival was confirmed after the city Qazi announced Eid on Saturday. Special prayers were offered at mosques and Eidgahs, with communities exchanging greetings and extending help to the needy, reflecting togetherness and unity.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared Eid greetings via social media, while Congress leaders including Jitu Patwari and P.C. Sharma visited local Eidgahs and homes of MLAs to convey greetings, highlighting the festival's message of love, brotherhood, and mutual harmony.

In Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited prominent Sufi shrines in Patna, offering prayers for peace and prosperity, accompanied by senior officials and party leaders. Notably, he did not attend the traditional Gandhi Maidan prayers, with his son Nishant Kumar representing him, sparking political speculation.

Across India, Congress leaders extended warm greetings: Rahul Gandhi wished citizens joy and prosperity via social media, Mallikarjun Kharge highlighted Eid as a festival of compassion and togetherness, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra emphasized love, harmony, and brotherhood.

Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is observed with early morning congregational prayers, charity, feasts, family gatherings, and festive clothing. While global celebrations continue, parts of West Asia experienced muted festivities due to ongoing conflicts. Governments in several countries have declared extended public holidays to allow citizens to partake fully in the occasion, which often extends for up to three days.

The festival embodies the values of compassion, generosity, and community, reflecting the rich cultural and spiritual diversity of Islam.
