Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who has shared the dressing room with Hardik Pandya for Mumbai Indians, has slammed him for his comments on Koffee with Karan. He also said that owing to his comments, the image of cricketers will be tarnished.

He said that he will not be comfortable with both the guys travelling in a bus with his daughter and wife on board.

"I will not travel with these two guys in the bus if my daughter or my wife are travelling in the team bus. How would they feel? You are looking at women in only one angle and that is not right," Harbhajan told India Today.

The offie also added that one doesn't speak in such a way even with friends and the comments have really put the entire cricketing fraternity to shame.

"We don't talk about all this even with our friends and they were talking on public television. Now people might think was Harbhajan Singh like this, was Anil Kumble like this and was Sachin Tendulkar..." Harbhajan added.

Supporting the suspension, Harbhajan said that he supports the decision and it came along expected lines.

"Pandya has been in the team for how long to talk of the team culture in the manner he did. I think this is the way to go," the 38-year-old responded when asked about the suspension. The BCCI did the right thing, and this is also the way forward. This was expected and I am not surprised," the off-spinner, who has over 400 Test wickets, said." Harbhajan said.

Even captain Virat Kohli hit out at the comments and said that his side does support the comments as they were inappropriate. Also, the BCCI have pulled out both the players from the squad and have been asked to return to India.

"From the Indian cricket team point of view, any inappropriate comments that are made in that scenario are something that we definitely don't support," he said.

He also hoped that the players would have understood the magnitude of their comments.
