Google has denied rumours that it has revised the Android One programme webpage. It comes over reports that Google had removed the two-year software support and an additional year of security patches for affiliated mobiles without notice.

The reports had apparently caused furore on social media. On Reddit, several Android One series phone owners were dismayed as the two-year Android software support message was missing from the official homepage.
