Hema Malini stepped out today to cast her vote in the ongoing Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections in Mumbai. Hema, who is still reeling from the shock of Dharmendra's death in November last year, looked solemn as she came to cast the vote. Dressed in a yellow salwar kameez, the 'Dream Girl of Bollywood' also reacted to the viral 'rude clip' of hers from a recent event, although indirectly.
In a video from a recent event, Hema was seen distributing medals at a sports event. However, what caught everyone's eyes was her cold and rude expression. The BJP MP didn't congratulate the medal winners and didn't even smile at them. Her cold and expressionless face made many wonder if she was still grieving from the loss of Dharmendra's death.

While some wondered if she was unwell. Now, post casting her vote, Malini smiled and interacted with the paparazzi. She also indirectly addressed the controversy and asked everyone to see how she was smiling.
"I am smiling, okay? Now don't complain that I don't smile," she said. She also posed for the paps happily and showed them the voting mark on her finger.
Hema on equation with Sunny

Hema, in a recent interview, had also set the record on the cold-war rumours between her and step son Sunny Deol. Hema Malini added that Sunny and she share a warm and respectful bond. She added that they both discuss things and are happy with the equation they share. She urged people not to jump to conclusions, as they all get along well.
