Hema Malini has said that she shares a great bond with stepson Sunny Deol and that there are no hard feelings between them. Hema and Sunny Deol and the equation between the families of Dharmendra's two wives came under the spotlight, once again post his death on November 24. Sunny and Hema both organised separate prayer meets for the legendary actor that raised many eyebrows.

Now, in a recent interview, Hema has said that people think that things are not fine between her and Sunny but that is not the case. She said that the equation between them is cordial and nice. She questioned if people wonder that things are not fine between them because they want gossip. The 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood added that she doesn't owe anyone any explanation as its her life.

Happy and cordial

"It has always been very nice and cordial. Even today it is very nice. I don't know why people think something is wrong with us. It is because people want gossip. Why should I answer them? Is it necessary for me to give an explanation? Why should I? It's my life. My personal life, our personal life," she told Indian Express.

"We are absolutely happy and very close to each other. That's it. I don't have anything more to say about this. I don't know what stories people are making up. So sad that people use other's grief to write a few articles. That is why I don't answer (such speculation)," she mentioned.

Dharmendra's museum

Hema Malini also affirmed that Sunny is thinking on the lines of turning Dharam paaji's Lonavala home into a museum for his fans and followers. She added that even if the 'Gadar' actor decides to go ahead with it, he would consult and talk to her about it.

"That's what Sunny is planning. So he will do it. We will consult and do it. He will tell me whatever he does, he tells me," she said.
