Did Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's breakup aid Daisy Shah's Bollywood debut?

Salman Khan was the man behind Daisy Shah's Bollywood debut in Jai Ho, but if one old report is to be believed, Katrina Kaif too has a big hand in it, though unintentionally.

According to a report in SpotboyE, Salman and Katrina's breakup played a major role in Daisy becoming an actress from a background dancer. The report stated that Daisy's debut in the movie was a result of a challenge that Katrina had thrown at Salman, following their reported bitter split.

The report stated that things had turned nasty between Salman and Katrina during their breakup period. So much so that the superstar ended up telling Katrina that she became a star because of him. This did not go down well with the actress, who reportedly told him that she became a star because of her talent and not just due to his help.

According to the report, Katrina then challenged Salman to pick anyone and make a successful actress. He had taken up the challenge and decided to make a background dancer a star soon.

That is when Salman chose Daisy, mentored her and took her on board for Jai Ho, the report added. Well, it is not confirmed if the sequence of events mentioned in the report is true, but Daisy certainly has a long way to go as far as stardom is concerned.

Daisy was last seen again with Salman in the movie Race 3, which turned out to be a complete disaster. The movie failed to impress the critics, and the audience too rejected it.

Salman, who now shares a cordial relationship with Katrina, will next be seen sharing the screen space with her in Bharat. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is slate to be released Eid 2019.
