Dhurandhar might have started out as a Ranveer Singh film but will be remembered as Akshaye Khanna film. Khanna's power-packed dialogues, viral dance moves, and screen brilliance have left everyone bowing down to his acting prowess. Amid the roaring success of 'Dhurandhar', Khanna is riding high!
As the actor finally seems to have gotten his due, we hear that he has chosen to walk out of 'Drishyam 3.' The third film in the hit 'Drishyam' franchise had the Khanna scion in a pivotal role. However, as per reports in the Bollywood Machine, the 'Taal' actor has walked out of the film owing to monetary disagreements.

Akshaye walks out?
It also adds that he was also not satisfied creatively and had suggested some changes that weren't incorporated. This reportedly led to him choosing to distance himself from the project. However, it also added that the makers are keen on keeping him onboard and might go the extra length to retain him.

Aditya Dhar steps back from limelight
While the film might have been the biggest blockbuster of the year, both Akshaye Khanna and director Aditya Dhar are far away from the spotlight. The two have been avoiding the limelight and busy leading their personal lives away from the camera glare. Rakesh Bedi, who played an integral part in the film, recently called Dhar grounded and humble.
"Issi saal Dhurandhar itni badi hit hai, aur abhi toh bas shuruaat hai. Yeh toh aadhi film hai, aadhi toh baaki hai. Lekin woh limelight mein hai hi nahi. Woh kisi ko interview nahi de raha, baat nahi kar raha," he said.
"Woh apne ghar jaakar baith gaya hai. He is just with his family. He is not like, 'Oh, maine yeh kar diya, woh kar diya...' He is not enjoying or brandishing the pomp and show; he's not doing that (He is sitting at his home)," he told Filmygyan.
