Dhurandhar beats The Raja Saab at box office; continues winning streak in 6th weekend

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar is unstoppable at the box office, as the movie made better collection and bigger collection than The Raja Saab in the Hindi-speaking belt in sixth weekend.

Prabhas is one of the most popular Telugu actors in North India, and the huge collections of Kalki AD, Adipurush, and Salaar are proof of his fame in the Hindi belt. To cash in on his star power, the distributors released it in a large number of cinema halls in this area.

But unfortunately, the Prabhas starrer opened to an average response, and negative word of mouth took a toll on its collection on Saturday and Sunday. The Raja Saab is estimated to have collected Rs 15.55 crore net at the North Indian box office. Its gross total stands at Rs 18 crore.

On the other hand, Dhurandhar received an average response on its sixth Friday due to The Raja Saab, which forced it out from many cinema halls. Negative word of mouth for the latter made it rock the show on Saturday and Sunday. The movie has collected Rs 16.55 crore net at the Indian box office in its sixth weekend.

The Raja Saab has reportedly recovered Rs 25 crore from the sale of theatrical rights of its Hindi version. The movie is estimated to have fetched Rs 11 crore for its distributor. The film has to return another 14 crore to them. Considering its current pace of collection, it will have a tough time recovering the sum. It might incur losses to them.

On the other hand, Dhurandhar has been made with a budget of Rs 250 crore, and its theatrical rights were reportedly sold for Rs 250 crore. The movie is estimated to have fetched Rs 500 crore for them. It has earned a huge amount of profit share for them.
