Popular Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of a couple of feature-rich handsets, Dazen 1 and Dazen X7.
Coolpad Dazen 1:
This new phone sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS screen and runs on the 64-bit class Snapdragon 410 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 8mp camera, 5mp snapper, and 2500 mAh battery.
Coolpad Dazen X7:
As the name suggests, Dazen X7 is a top-end model. It boasts 5.2-inch full display and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS powered by Mediatek Octa-Core CPU, 2GB RAM, 13mp camera, 8mp snapper on the front and 2700 mAh battery.
Coolpad Dazen 1 and X7 India release and price details:
The company has reportedly confirmed that the both Coolpad Dazen 1 and X7 will be made available exclusively on Snapdeal for ₹6,999 and ₹17,999, respectively, on 9 June. The registration window will open at 6:00 pm on Thursday.
With this foray, Coolpad becomes the seventh tier-1 Chinese firm to set foot in India, which already hosts Xiaomi, Lenovo, Huawei (also its subsidiary Honor), Oppo, OnePlus, Meizu, ZTE and its subsidiary Nubia. PhiComm is also expected to enter the subcontinent next month.

With a sub-₹7,000 price-tag, Coolpad Dazen 1 will be up against popular Micromax YU Yuphoria, Xiaomi Redmi 2, Motorola Moto E (2 Gen), Microsoft Lumia 640, Lenovo A6000 (& Plus variant) and other domestic brands.
On the other hand, Coolpad Dazen X7 will be up against Xiaomi Mi 4i, ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini, Meizu M1 Note, Lenovo A7000, Microsoft Lumia 640 XL, Asus Zenfone 2 and others.
