
Border 2 and Mardaani 3 have shown a steep decline in their collection at the Indian box office on Monday. But the former has done better business than the latter in the domestic market.
When compared to its opening day, Border 2 showed around a 50 percent drop in its collection on its second Friday. But the movie showed decent growth on Saturday and Sunday. However, it witnessed over a 40 percent drop on Monday, as it is a working day. The film has collected Rs 6.52 crore net at the Indian box office on its 11th day, taking its domestic total to Rs 308.41 crore net

On the other hand, Mardaani 3 also opened to a good response on Friday, and it went on to show a decent jump on Saturday and Sunday. But the film witnessed a steep decline of over 40 percent on Monday. The movie has collected Rs 2.40 crore net at the Indian box office on its fourth day, taking its domestic total to Rs 19.65 crore net.
Taran wrote, "#Mardaani3 witnesses the expected Monday dip due to the working day – a trend that was always on the cards... Despite the drop, the Monday numbers remain decent. However, Border 2 has done better business than Mardaani 3 in its second week. As per its current trends, the movie will continue to have an edge over the latter at the domestic box office in the following weekdays. The movie is expected to inch closer to the Rs 350 crore net mark by the end of the second week.
