Not just Assam, the whole nation is still trying to come to terms with Zubeen Garg's tragic and untimely death. The celebrated singer passed away under mysterious circumstances in Singapore. He was there to perform at the North East India Festival. Many people have registered FIRs alleging conspiracy behind the singer's death.

Conspiracy theory?

FIRs have been registered against Zubeen's manager, Sidharth Sharma; drummer Shekhar Jyoti Goswami; and businessman Sanjive Naraine, along with the event manager, Shyamkanu Mahanta, by people across NortheastIndia. Now Shekhar Jyoti Goswami has shared some shocking details about Zubeen Garg's death and the events leading up to it.

Zubeen jumped without life jacket

The drummer revealed that they were all on a yacht and the island was just 40-50 meters away. They decided to swim to the island and jumped into the water. He revealed that Zubeen Garg went for a swim without a life jacket. He added that Zubeen didn't listen to him, but after he repeatedly told him to wear the life jacket, the singer started returning towards the yacht to get one.

Vomited, froth came out of mouth

As per a report in NorthEastLive.com, Goswami said that it was at this point, while returning towards the yacht, that Zubeen's face had gone inside the water and he had started floating downwards. He tried to push him up but realized that his body weight had increased and there was no effort from his side to lift himself up.

Goswami further said that he saw froth coming out of Zubeen's mouth, and he even vomited. He immediately called for help, and people from the yacht jumped in to save him. Zubeen was quickly taken to the yacht, and he was given CPR. The water ambulance also arrived within ten minutes. Shekhar added that he was massaging Zubeen Garg's feet continuously but saw that his feet had turned blue. He also noticed the singer's nose turning blue and lips turning black.

It took them thirty minutes to reach the port, and medical professionals were stationed there, but they couldn't find the pulse. Once he reached the hospital, he was declared brought dead.
