Bigg Boss Telugu 3: Chiranjeevi or Venkatesh - who will replace Nani on Star Maa TV show?

Star Maa is reportedly set to come up with Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 and its bosses are considering the names of megastar Chiranjeevi and Victory Venkatesh to replace actor Nani on the hit TV show.

Bigg Boss Telugu is the fourth Indian version of reality TV programme Bigg Boss. Jr NTR hosted its season 1, which went on to become a big hit with the audience. After the young tiger declined to host its season 2, Star Maa brought actor Nani on board and the Natural star managed to get an equal amount of response to the show with his anchoring skills.

But one section of the audience, which was not happy with Nani, kept trolling him throughout Bigg Boss Telugu season 2. Though he was furious with it, the actor-turned-host tried to improve his skills and also requested the upset fans to stop being abusive. But his plea fell on deaf ears and it forced him to announce, "I'll never return to Bigg Boss."

Everyone was curious to know whether Jr NTR would make a comeback or a new star would be brought on board. The latest we hear is that they have already started the process for Bigg Boss Telugu season 3 and planned to bring some TV actresses as contestants.

They were said to have approached Jr NTR for hosting the show. But he has once again rejected the offer as he is busy with SS Rajamouli's RRR.

Hence, the makers of Bigg Boss Telugu are said to be in talks with Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh for hosting the next season of their hit reality TV show. It is rumoured that currently negotiations are going and the bosses of the show are likely to make an official announcement, once one of the two gives his consent for hosting the show.

Chiranjeevi made his debut on small screen as a TV host of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu season, which had gone on air from on 13 February 2017. Moreover, he has been a part of MAA TV, since its inception. He fits the bill perfectly and it would not be difficult for the makers of Bigg Boss Telugu 3 convince him. But he is busy with the shooting of Sye Raa, which may not allow him to accept the offer.

If he says no, Venkatesh Daggubati would be the next option for the makers of Bigg Boss Telugu 3. He has little experience in the small screen industry, but the makers are confident about his capability. They had brought him on the finale of Bigg Boss Telugu 2 as a chief guest.

Venky was seen handing over the winner's trophy to Kaushal Manda. He might accept their offer as he has finished all his commitments.
