Bigg Boss Marathi has finally got its first winner as Megha Dhade emerged victorious and took home the winning trophy beating her fellow finalist - Pushkar Jog, Sai Lokur, Smita Gondkar, Aastad Kale and Sharmishtha Raut in the grand finale. While her fans have been pouring in congratulatory messages, Bigg Boss 11 winner Shilpa Shinde has congratulated Megha for becoming the grand winner of the very first season.
Shilpa Shinde, who had been religiously following the show, sent her best wishes to Megha on Twitter and also agreed and echoed her finale statement that Bigg Boss is nothing but a game of emotions. She also thanked her fanbase who supported Megha and voted for her.
"Many congratulations @meghadhade on becoming the grand winner of the very first season of #BiggBossMarathi. And I completely agree with what you said, it's a game of emotions. Enjoy the success. Thanks #Shilpians for supporting correct contestant," Shilpa Shinde tweeted.
Megha's stupendous win took Shilpa Shinde's brother Ashutosh down the memory lane and sent loads of wishes for the Bigg Boss Marathi winner.
"You brought some old memories back @meghadhade. Loads of wishes on becoming the winner of #BiggBossMarathi , a reality show you always wanted to be a part of. Wishing you all the best for your bright future," Ashutosh Shinde tweeted.
As Megha was declared as the first winner of the Bigg Boss Marathi season 1, Pushkar Jog became the first runner-up while Smita Gondkar settled down as the second runner-up in the finale race.
Earlier, Shilpa Shinde was confused between Sharmishtha, Megha and Sai when she was asked who she wants to see as the winner. She eventually took Sharmishtha's name first but unfortunately the wild card entrant was the first one to get eliminated among the other top five finalists.
Shilpa also came out in support of Megha when she was asked whether the latter faking her behaviour in the Bigg Boss Marathi house.
"You cannot fake inside the Bigg Boss house at all. You can fake for 2-3 days but cannot keep on doing that for 100 days. I don't feel Megha is fake, she is very transparent," Shilpa was quoted as saying by The Times Of India.
Shilpa observed that Megha was being targetted in the last few episodes of Bigg Boss Marathi as she is a strong contender in the house. She added that Sai had been mean since last few days and said she always favours Pushkar Jog and is least bothered about Megha but the latter has always supported Sai.
And viewers witnessed the same about Sai when Mahesh Manjrekar asked her who does she wants to see win the show between her two best friends Megha and Pushkar. And without giving a second thought Sai said that she wants to see Pushkar to win the Bigg Boss Marathi show. But it was Megha who managed to steal the hearts of millions and became the ultimate winner after receiving the maximum number of votes.
