SS Rajamouli's mega-budget movie "Baahubali – The Beginning" (Bahubali) is unstoppable both at the domestic and overseas box offices, breaking one record after another. Its opening weekend collection in the US has beaten Rajinikanth's "Enthiran," Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" and several other South films.
Worldwide collections of "Baahubali" crossed the ₹200 crore mark on Tuesday after raking in ₹23 crore. Total earnings from five days stand at ₹213 crore, beating Rajinikanth's "Enthiran" and Shankar-Vikram's "I" as the fastest South Indian film to reach the milestone.
"Baahubali" (Telugu and Tamil versions) took the US box office by storm, raking in a whopping ₹27.42 ($4,474,214) in the opening weekend (including Thursday's previews) itself, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He tweeted that Telugu version of "Baahubali" alone has collected ₹28.35 crore from just five days.

Now, the total collections of "Baahubali" in the US stands at ₹29.80 crore (exclude Monday's collection of Tamil version).
The opening weekend collections from the US box office stand at ₹27.42 ($4,474,214), beating Rajinikanth's "Enthiran" (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions), which earned ₹9.70 crore ($21,66,178) in its first weekend, and Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" (Tamil and Telugu versions) which raked in ₹3.98 crore ($7,37,569).
"Baahubali" opening weekend collections from overseas box office stand at ₹29.57 crore with its Telugu version earning ₹32.46 lakh (£32,886) in the UK, and ₹51.68 lakh ($81,363) in Canada, while its Tamil version collected ₹16.91 lakh (A$35,849) in Australia, and ₹13.86 lakh ($21,824) in Canada, according to the information provided by the analyst.
The ₹250 crore period drama, featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, collected over ₹50 crore on the opening day in India, becoming the highest ever opening collection (all versions) in the country. It is shot in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed in two other languages – Hindi and Malayalam. BlueSky Cinemas, which has bought overseas distribution rights of the film, is releasing it in several countries, especially, the US, the UK, Canada and Australia.
