Telugu movie "Baahubali" (English: The One With Strong Arms), directed by S.S.Rajamouli is not only creating history in India but also set to storm the box office in the United States.

The period drama has already collected about $1.29 million (₹8.20 crore) from Thursday's previews ahead of its Friday release.

Starring Prabhas, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, "Baahubali" is expected to rock US box office.

Opening day collections haven't arrived but film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh has revealed that earnings from previews of Telugu version alone have crossed $1 million, giving a strong hint that it might create a record in box office collections at overseas markets also.

"Baahubali" collected a whopping ₹50 crore in India on Friday, becoming the highest ever opening collection (all versions) in the country, tweeted Adarsh, adding its Hindi dubbed version earned ₹5.15 crore.

Made on a mega budget of ₹250 crore (approximately $40 million), beating "Enthiran" ("Robot") "RA.One," "Dhoom 3," and "Kochadaiiyaan" to become the most expensive movie in Indian cinema, "Baahubali" has been made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.

BlueSky Cinemas is distributing all the versions of the movie overseas. The movie will be screened in several theatres in the US and advance booking opened 10 days before the release.

"Baahubali" received great response as far as advance booking was concerned, with BlueSky Cinemas revealing that four shows in Cinemark Centreville, Varginia, and shows in places like Omaha, and Nebraska being sold out.
