SS Rajamouli's latest movie, "Baahubali - the Beginning", has turned a money spinner, storming both domestic and overseas box office. It has raked in over ₹23 crore from the US and Canada in just three days.

Telugu version of "Baahubali" collected $1,360,200 from Thursday's previews, $1,061,359 on opening day (Friday) and $1,035,046 on Saturday from the US box office, taking the total collections to a whopping ₹21.91 crore, tweeted film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh.

He went on to reveal that Tamil version of "Baahubali" earned $10,850 on Thursday (previews), and $50,821 on Friday, taking its two days earning in the US to $61,671 (₹39.08 lakh), while its Telugu version collected $47,217 (₹23.63 lakh) from just two screens in Canada (Thursday preview: $21,875, Fri: $25,342). 

Collections of "Baahubali" stand at ₹23.52 crore from the US and Canada. The total earning is from three days screening of both Telugu and Tamil versions in the US and two days screening of Telugu version in Canada (no Tamil version in Canada). Crowd could be good on Sunday, as it's a holiday, but collection of the day is yet to come in.

Meanwhile, the film is rocking at the domestic box office, raking in a whopping ₹50 crore on first day, becoming the highest ever opening collection (all versions) in the country. It is reported that its weekend collection (three days) stand at ₹169 crore.

Featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in the lead roles, "Baahubali" was made on a budget of about ₹250 crore (approximately $40 million), becoming most expensive film in the Indian cinema. It's being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.
