Prospective buyers of the much-hyped Asus Zenfone 2 smartphone have something to cheer about, as the ZE551ML model of the device will see its first price cut since its release a few days ago. However, the discount is valid only for a day.
The Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with 4GB RAM will be available for just $336.99 instead of its original price of $449.32. AliExpress is giving the discount for just a day on Thursday, 7 May. The total discount on the Zenfone 2 high-end model is a whopping $112.
Interestingly, Asus hasn't given discount on other models of the device, ZE500CL and ZE551ML, and also Zenfone 2 ZE551ML with 2GB RAM.
Asus released two models of Zenfone 2 – ZE550CL and ZE551ML – last month, while the budget ZE500CL model is expected to be launched soon.
The high-end Zenfone 2 ZE551ML comes in two variants, one with 2GB and the other with 4GB RAM. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), powered by Intel Atom Z3580 processor, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes packed with 16/32/64GB internal memory expandable up to another 64GB. It also houses a 13 MP main camera with LED flash and 5 MP front snapper, and has a non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh battery.
