Apple has announced that Sid Meier's Civilization VII Arcade Edition will launch on Apple Arcade on February 5, marking the franchise's debut on the subscription gaming service.
The Arcade Edition brings the long-running PC strategy series to iPhone, iPad, and Mac, allowing players to experience the latest chapter in the Civilization franchise across Apple devices. The game follows the core mechanics of the series, with civilizations evolving through distinct historical ages and player decisions shaping the cultural and strategic direction of each empire.
Civilization VII joins a growing list of PC titles that have made their way to Apple Arcade in recent months, including PowerWash Simulator and Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, as Apple continues to expand the service's catalogue with established franchises.
Alongside Civilization VII, Apple Arcade will add three new titles on February 5. These include Retrocade, a collection of classic arcade games such as Asteroids, Bubble Bobble, Centipede, and Galaga; Felicity's Door, a new rhythm-based game set across varied dream-like environments; and I Love Hue Too+, a colour-based puzzle game focused on arranging tiles into ordered spectrums. Retrocade will also support immersive play on Apple Vision Pro, in addition to iPhone and iPad.

Apple said all new titles will be available without advertisements or in-app purchases, in line with Apple Arcade's subscription model.
The company also announced upcoming content updates for existing games on the platform. From January 22, Crayola Create and Play+ will host a limited-time winter-themed event featuring Paddington, offering seasonal activities and mini-games.
Pricing and availability
Apple Arcade is priced at Rs 99 per month in India and includes a one-month free trial for new subscribers. Customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV receive three months of Apple Arcade at no additional cost. The service is also included in Apple One subscription plans.
Apple Arcade currently offers access to more than 200 games, playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, subject to device compatibility and regional availability.
