Dhanush and Amyra Dastur starrer "Anegan" has opened to positive response worldwide. The movie has also got good opening in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and a few other centres.
Leading critic and trade tracker announced that "Anegan" has earned a total of ₹6.55 crore (nett) on the release day in India. According to him, the film has made ₹5.80 crore in Tamil Nadu, ₹40 lakh in Keraka and ₹35 lakh in Karnataka.
He tweeted, "#Anegan Net Collections- Friday - TN = Rs 5.80 Cr + Kerala =Rs 40 lakhs + Karnataka = Rs 35 L. Total India - Rs 6.55 Cr (Approx). Fabulous. "#Anegan has opened very well & carries + reports & hit talk. Since it is tax free in TN, trade loving it." However, the international business report of the movie is awaited.
"Anegan" has been released in 701 screens worldwide. The film has hit the screens in 390 theatres in Tamil Nadu, 91 in Kerala, 50 in Karnataka and 170 in foreign countries. We should note that the Telugu and Hindi versions have not been released along with the Tamil movie.
The advance booking for "Anegan" in Chennai, Bangalore and other centres got a fantastic response. Moreover, the film has been grandly welcomed by the audience all over Tamil Nadu.
"Anegan" is a romantic-thriller directed by KV Anand and produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram. The thrilling narration backed by impressive performance by Dhanush, Amyra Dastur and Karthi are the highlights of the Tamil movie.
