The response for "Yennai Arindhaal" has been good even at international circuits like the US, Australia, UK and Malaysia. The total collection from foreign countries is about ₹15 crore to take the worldwide collection tally to ₹60.34 crore.

We should note that the afore-mentioned figures are speculated numbers and not officially confirmed by the makers of the Tamil movie.

"Yennai Arindhaal" had grossed ₹53.5 crore in the first weekend (4 days). On the release day, the Tamil movie had made ₹14.5 crore. The film was released on 5 February and it opened to mixed reviews.

The movie is mainly appreciated by family audiences. Ajith's electrifying presence, Arun Vijay's brilliant performance, Trisha's impressive acting and the decent storyline are working in favour of the flick.

However, "Yennai Arindhaal" is now facing the heat of "Anegan" as Dhanush's film, which is releasing on Friday, is snatching away big screens. The KV Anand movie is likely to have some impact on Gautham Menon's movie if it opens to good reviews.
