Iconic actor Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as Bollywood ka Shahenshah is a huge social media buff and is known to speak his mind on Twitter on a lot of issues be it personal and the society per se. Now, he is facing an issue on his Samsung Galaxy S9 and is seeking the help of his millions of fans on Twitter.

"T 3024 - HELP !! Samsung S9 not functioning .. Samsung logo is on front screen, and is blinking again and again .. nothing else happens .. changed it .. let it be .. tried to close it does not close either ..
HELP ... someone please guide me as to what I should de ..," Bachchan Tweeted.

Going by the statement, Bachchan's Galaxy S9 seems to have gone into a boot loop rendering it useless. Samsung's phones have a bad reputation of coming with a highly forked version of Google's Android mobile OS. Though Samsung has the good intention of offering personalised features for the customers, too much tweaking of the software burdens the processor, most often times, the devices tend to show lag-ness and face RAM management issues within a few months of usage.

The Galaxy S9 is one of the best camera phones in the market, but as said before, the Samsung's custom skin on Android OS wears it down. We believe this is the case with Bachchan's Galaxy S9.

Here's one of the temporary solution to resolve Galaxy S9 issue:

Soft reboot:

Step 1: Press and hold the power button (right side) and Volume low button (on the left side) simultaneously until the screen goes off (for 10 seconds). Then for a few more seconds, allow Maintenance Boot Mode screen to appear.

Step 2: From the Maintenance Boot Mode screen, select Normal Boot.

  • Utilize the volume buttons to cycle through the available options and the lower left button (below the volume buttons) to select.
  • Allow up to 90 seconds for the reset to complete.

This should bring the device to normal mode, but if even this doesn't work then, you should go to the authorised service centre and get your device checked by the expert.

It can be noted that Samsung is planning to bring the all-new One UI interface for the Galaxy S9 and Note9 series in early 2019. It is based on the latest Android Pie and most importantly, it will be more simple and less customisation.

Bachchan has been the brand ambassador for OnePlus and he even endorsed for the OnePlus 6T on TV ads, but personally, he has been using the Galaxy S9.

Thankfully, Samsung swiftly reached out to Bachchan and resolved Galaxy S9 issues with less inconvenience. If it had been any delay in service, he might get offers from rivals to make the switch, which would have been a huge loss of face for Samsung's brand value.

"T 3025 - PHEEWWWWW .. !! phone resolved .. SAMSUNG connected immediately after Tweet and all is well .. what a world we are living in .. I mean it was the most disturbed night of all nights .. why ..?? because the MOBILE had gone dead .. I mean WHAT ..??!!!," Bachchan tweeted after Samsung resolved the issue in the Galaxy S9.

"T 3025 - Technology is forcing us to keep a back up .. but technology is dictating life .. SO .. back up for life .. ?? IMPOSSIBLE ..
Unless you have some solution for that .. do let me know .." Bachchan added.
