Emerging mobile-maker Tenor released the new budget Android phone 10.or D2 in India. It is a 'crafted for Amazon' exclusive phone and is currently available for Prime members on August 27 and others can purchase it August 28 onwards.

The new 10.or D2 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ screen, which guarantees cinematic viewing experience. On the back, it features a sturdy polycarbonate shell that can also sustain accidental drops.

Inside, it comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor backed by Adreno 308 GPU, 2 GB / 3 GB RAM, 16 GB / 32 GB storage and a 3,200mAh battery, sufficient enough for the phone to run for a whole day under regular usage. The device runs on Android Oreo OS with all Amazon apps - Amazon shopping, Kindle, Prime Video, Prime Music and Alexa.

As far as the camera is concerned, it comes with 13 MP (with Sony IMX258 sensor), F2.0 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP front selfie snapper with dedicated LED flash, face detection, beautify feature and more.

Amazon's 10.or D2 comes in two configurations -- 2 GB RAM + 16 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage -- for Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999, respectively.

Prior to the launch, I had the chance to explore the 10.or D2 first-hand and it fared well in terms of camera, faster app loading and display viewing experience. I really appreciate the company for offering dedicated slots for dual SIMs and the microSD card, which rival brands rarely offer, inconveniencing users to choose between the second-SIM and the extra storage.
