P Ravinder Reddy, who was the President of Akkineni fans association, died of cancer on Saturday. Nagarjuna, Akhil, Sushanth and many fans of Akkineni family are shocked and saddened by his death.

Ravinder Reddy had been a die-hard fan of ANR aka Akkineni Nageswara Rao, since the release of Premabhisekam. ANR reportedly invited him to attend the launch of Vikram, which marked the acting debut of his son Nagarjuna. Later, Reddy was appointed as the President of Akkineni fans association, under which he went on to do several charity works.

P Ravinder Reddy had reportedly been suffering from cancer for few years and he had recently moved on to stay with his sister at her residence, where he breathed his last on August 25. His sudden death came as a huge shock to Akkineni family and all the fans.

Soon after hearing the news about P Ravinder Reddy's death, Nagarjuna Akkineni took to Twitter to offer condolences to his family. The actor tweeted, "Ravinder Reddy has been a good friend and a pillar of support to my family, he was a kind and a giving human being ..we will miss you dear Ravinder Reddy #RIPravinderreddy (sic)"

Akhil Akkineni tweeted, "The Akkineni family has lost one of our most beloved well wishers and friend who was a pillar of support and a wonderful human being. We are all deeply saddened by this great loss. Ravinder Reddy may your soul rest in peace we will miss you and we thank you for everything. RIP"

Sushanth A tweeted, "Ravinder Reddy garu... Will always remember your warm smile and support Thank you for every year... One of the kindest person I've come across. The memories always remain RIP "

Annapurna Studios tweeted the photos featuring his fond memories and wrote, "A dear friend who stood by us always ! Ravinder Reddy Garu may your soul rest in peace Our condolences to his family."
