Former Miss World-turned-Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has chosen Seven Hills Hospital at Marol in Andheri for delivery. Sources said that a deluxe VIP room at the seven-star hospital has been booked from November 10 to 15.
Aishwarya's due date is November 14, but sources don't rule out delivery on the auspicious day 11/11/11. It is reported that there is a possibility of the actress opting for C-Section delivery on 11/11/11, as it is an auspicious date that comes only once in 800 years. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11.
Seven Hills Hospital was hit by controversies over a few beds being reserved for the poor, but Aishwarya is said to be impressed by the facilities of the hospital and started consulting gynaecologist Dr Vinita Salvi for her pregnancy. Her sister-in-law Shrima gave birth to a baby boy in this hospital last year.
Sources said that Aishwarya and the Bachchans chose the hospital because of the privacy it offers. It is said that the gynaecologist of the hospital even reports for work early in the morning just to attend to her celebrity client.
