Like earlier, Xiaomi Redmi Note Flipkart flash sale got over in just a few seconds.
The Chinese company boasted its feat on the official Facebook page claiming that all the 75,000 units got sold out in just 8 seconds.

However, Xiaomi fans were not amused of this record flash sale as many were frustrated about not being able get their hands on the elusive Redmi Note. Like rubbing salt on the wound, some miscreants have shown audacity to re-sell the same device for much higher prices right in the comment section of Xiaomi India's official page with contact details.
Some fraudsters have also posted ads on online classified sites like OLX, Quikr and others for exorbitant prices.
Both Flipkart and Xiaomi had faced flak from consumers during Redmi 1S flash sales few weeks back. In that order, both the companies had developed an algorithm, which automatically blocked select consumers (fraudsters) who use illegal means to buy Redmi 1S and other electronic branded devices on the website.
But going by Tuesday's report, this security measure is not enough to deter criminals indulging in racketeering of Redmi Note.
For the uninitiated, Xiaomi's flagship budget phone- Redmi 1S is currently on sale on Flipkart. Users need not get registered; he/she can just log in to Flipkart and buy the device [HERE]. Readers are advised that availability of Redmi 1S is subject to change with time and inventory capacity

Xiaomi, in collaboration with home-grown network carrier Airtel, is slated to release 4G-based Redmi Note in select cities (around 15) across India for ₹9,999 later this month.
