The one challenge that every fan was waiting for, was held in the previously aired episode 5 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 8. The queens had all dressed up as a popular character or personality – in Kim Chi's case, a made up personality – to impress supermodels Gigi Hadid and Chanel Iman.

After the second elimination of Naysha Lopez, the competition got a lot tougher, especially because every remaining queen deserves to be here in their own right. However, one of them had to write a lipstick message for her sisters and it is not someone we would have expected to go until very last episodes.

The episode saw queens getting busy creating the right look for their characters and mentally preparing themselves to embody those persona. Although this would have been a challenge where fans would expect Thorgy Thor or Robbie Turner to win, Bob The Drag Queen owned the challenge from the beginning. She was so confident about the whole challenge, and had to narrow down her choices that included Whoopi Goldberg and Crazy Eyes from "Orange is the New Black."

Meanwhile, Derrick Barry, who had had enough of being typecast as just a Brittney Spears impersonator decided to take a risk, which might have proved disastrous. However, RuPaul convinced him that sometimes the obvious choice isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Kim Chi went a way that most fans would not have anticipated, by impersonating Kimi Jong-un, the fictional sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. It was very strange seeing Kim Chi without her signature loud makeup, but she more than made up for it with her unique characters ticks.

Thorgy's Michael Jackson and Robbie's Diana Vreeland did impress Ru and the supermodels, but it is Bob that ultimately won the challenge. He gave two different characters for the judges and nailed both of them. In the end, it was Naomi Smalls and Acid Betty that failed to impress.

While Naomi looked great, she was not quick on her feet and despite Ru throwing her many bones, she failed to catch them. In Betty's case, right from the wig and the make-up to the persona, everything was wrong and although she made up for it in the runway, she still landed in bottom two.

The queens sashayed on the runway in their best Madonna looks and surprisingly, four separate queens went the kimono way. Thorgy, Kim Chi, Derrick and Naomi wore kimonos, but Naomi's predictable lingerie choice landed her in the bottom two with Betty.

Betty was as artistic as ever, walking the runway with a pregnant belly with doves flying out of it. It was quite strange to see a strong contender like Betty in bottom two, and worse still to see her go after her first bottom two visit. However, the fact remains that Naomi outdid her in the lip sync battle.
