Moonlight Drawn by Clouds actor Park Bo Gum recently surprised his friend Go Kyung Pyo during a fan meet held to celebrate the end of Jealousy Incarnate by arriving unannounced at the event.
"Kyung Pyo cheered me on by sending coffee carts to my drama set," Park Bo Gum reportedly said. "I really wanted to pay back, but I had trouble adjusting my schedule. I was wondering how I could make him feel touched, and when I searched his name, the special event with fans was scheduled today. I saw that exactly 100 fans will be here, so I just came without notifying my agency."
Park Bo Gum and Go Kyung Pyo acted together in Reply 1988, which aired on tvN from November 2015 to January 2016. In Jealousy Incarnate, which ended on November 10, Go Kyung Pyo played business tycoon Go Jung-won.
Park Bo Gum is known for such thoughtful gestures. On the September 22 edition of KBS 2TV's Happy Together 3, actress Jung Hye Sung, who played princess Myeong-eun in Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, revealed that Park Bo Gum takes care of her during filming. It takes Jung Hye Sung close to four-and-a-half hours to transform into her character, who is a bit on the heavy side, and Park Bo Gum makes sure to compliment her to brighten up her day, the actress said.
"I'm two or three years older than Park Bo Gum. Because I'm wearing special makeup he takes care of me well. He says I look cute and holds the fan to me," she said.
"Even in difficult situations, Park Bo Gum is always bright. He's handsome and polite, but he's also sexy. He's nice to the point he'll give up the water he was drinking when it's hot," she added.
