With the release of the official teaser of upcoming Malayalam movie Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol on Saturday, December 3, the audience in Kerala are now expecting yet another blockbuster from superstar Mohanlal. The one-minute-four second video features Mohanlal and Anoop Menon exchanging an interesting conversation that has already raised expectations from the family entertainer.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol marks the reunion of Drishyam pair Mohanlal and Meena, who were well accepted by the audience for their performance in Jeethu Joseph's family thriller. Ever since the makers announced the upcoming movie, it was making headlines with the fans expecting to see Mohanlal as a family man again.

The teaser of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has been garnering positive response making it one of the top trending videos on YouTube in India. At the time of reporting, the teaser was ranked on the fifth position with over six lakh views in less than two days of its release. This hints that the Jibu Jacob directorial might become another superhit in the career of Mohanlal, and is expected to be the fourth blockbuster of the actor this year after the hat-trick hits Janatha Garage, Oppam and Pulimurugan.
In Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Mohanlal plays the character of Ulahannan, a panchayat secretary, who is married to Annyamma (Meena) with two kids Gini (Aima Sebastian) and Jerry (Sanoop Santhosh). Kasaba-fame Neha Saxena will be seen as an NRI named Julie, who becomes a turning point in the life of Mohanlal's character. The movie, which also stars Anoop Menon, Alencier Ley and Kalabhavan Shajon in significant roles, is the production venture of Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbuster.
Meanwhile, a grand audio launch ceremony of the Jibu Jacob directorial was held at Taj Hotel in Kochi on Sunday that was attended by many guest, cast and crew of the Mohanlal-starrer. The family entertainer is scheduled to hit the screens this month to lock horns with other major Christmas releases.
