South Korean consumer electronics giant LG today (30 March) officially announced the worldwide launch of mid-range smartphones - Leon, Joy, Magna and Spirit.
The company has announced that the all the four – Leon, Joy, Magna, Spirit – devices will first hit stores in South America and later in Europe, Asia, Middle East Africa and North America. However, the price details of the devices are still under wraps.
"Millions of customers around the world today are seeking reasonably-priced devices that don't sacrifice on looks or features," said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
"Our newest mid-range smartphones are designed with both new and experienced users in mind all over the world who know a good deal when they see one," he added.
The LG Leon sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS powered by 1.2GHz/1.3GHz quad-core SoC (System on Chip), 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and 1900 mAh battery.
The LG Joy is a watered down version of the aforementioned model Leon. It features 4.0-inch WVGA screen, 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB/512MB RAM, 4GB/8GB memory and 1900 mAh battery.
On the other hand, LG's Magma and Spirit are slightly bigger in size. They house Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, 8GB inbuilt memory, 1GB RAM and an 8.0-megapixel main camera on the rear side.
