Young Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan, who recently made a cameo appearance in his friend Sunny Wayn's movie Ann Maria Kalippilaanu, is currently busy with the final schedule of Amal Neerad's directorial venture in the US.
The yet-to-be-titled project has been making headlines ever since it was announced, thanks to the tremendous fan following Dulquer enjoys in Kerala. The latest we hear from the industry is that Dulquer, who plays as Aji Mathew, a native of Kottayam, will be performing stunts with Hollywood actors in it. The news hit the headlines after popular stunt coordinator Mark Chavarria shared a few photos from the shooting location of the Amal-DQ movie.
The photos shared on the Facebook profile of Mark shows DQ about to fight with foreigners. Netizens were quick to notice that the still is from the upcoming Amal movie, which had recently wrapped up the second schedule of shooting in Mexico. "Restarted shoot for Amalettan's next in beautiful Monterrey, Mexico ! The wonderful Mariachi band set the mood for us throughout the day ! Such kind people everywhere we went in Mexico. Really want to visit again [sic]," Dulquer had then posted on his social media page, while sharing photos of the shooting team in Mexico.
The upcoming movie with the tagline "some heroes are real" has been tagged as one of the most awaited flick to be released in 2017. Meanwhile, DQ is awaiting the release of Sathyan Anthikad's directorial venture Jomonte Suvisheshangal, which was earlier scheduled to hit screens on December 16. However, the release date of the family entertainer has been postponed due to the ongoing tiff between the producers and distributors associations in Kerala.
Dulquer, who had a fruitful career in 2016, has handful of projects that will be released next year as well. The actor has also been roped in to play the lead roles in Bejoy Nambiar's Solo, Lal Jose's Oru Bhayankara Kamukan, Salaam Bukhari's untitled flick and he will also be seen in a cameo role in Soubin Shahir's debut directorial Parava.
