After reports on Dulquer Salmaan's association with scriptwriter Unni R and producer Shebin Backer after the blockbuster movie Charlie hit the headlines in April 2016, the young star has officially announced about his next, to be directed by Lal Jose.
The upcoming romantic entertainer has been titled Oru Bhayangara Kamukan, and as the title suggests, Dulquer will be seen as a romantic hero in it. The much awaited project will go on the floor in 2017. "Here is another exciting project that I'm blessed to be a part off ! Another collaboration with the amazing Lalu Ettan (Lal Jose), written by my dear Unni Ettan (Unni R) and produced by the very kind Shebin Backer. Oru Bhayankara Kamukan goes on the floors next year !![sic]," Dulquer posted on his Facebook page on October 11.
Expectations are sky high from Oru Bhayankara Kamukan as it marks the reunion of the hit trio Dulquer, Unni and Shebin, whose previous outing Charlie became a huge success in Kerala. The family entertainer, which completed its 100 days of theatrical run in Kerala, even bagged the Kerala State Film Award under eight categories, including Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Director, Best Sound Mixing and Best Processing Lab.
Oru Bhayankara Kamukan is expected to start rolling after Dulquer completes the shooting of actor Salaam Bukhari's debut directorial venture. Currently, the actor is working for Sathyan Anthikad's family entertainer Jomonte Suvisheshangal in Thrissur and will resume the second schedule shooting of Amal Neerad's untitled project in the US. Dulquer also has Bollywood director Bejoy Nambiar's yet-to-be-titled Malayalam movie in his kitty for the next year.
