Tiger Shroff's "A Flying Jatt" releases on Aug. 25, Thursday, and as per early estimates it may beat the opening day box office collection of "Mohenjo Daro,""Baaghi" and "Heropanti." The superhero film is looking at cashing in on the Krishna Janmasthami holiday.

Going by the buzz, "A Flying Jatt" may collect somewhere in between Rs. 11-12 crore at the domestic box office on day 1. While Hrithik Roshan's "Mohenjo Daro" raked in Rs. 8.87 crore, Tiger's first two films — "Baaghi" and "Heropanti" — minted Rs. 11.94 crore and Rs. 6.63 crore, respectively at the Indian box office on the first day.

"A Flying Jatt" has released in 2500-2600 screens, more than what Akshay Kumar's "Rustom" opened in (2317 screens). Despite the average screen count, the senior actor's star power and positive word-of-mouth around the action-thriller powered it through to great heights; it has grossed Rs. 182.34 crore worldwide.

Here are a few aspects that may benefit or perhaps boost Tiger's "A Flying Jatt" box office earnings:

There are no big releases this Friday, which means the film gets a one-week window to run solo until Sept. 2, when Sonakshi Sinha's "Akira" arrives in theatres. Also, "Rustom" may be going steady, but it has slowed down and may soon round off its run at the box office with an impressive triple digit figure.

The Krishna Janmasthami holiday may work as an added advantage and help spike the day 1 box office collections of "A Flying Jatt." However, the morning show occupancy is around 20-30 percent, which isn't a great number. Hopefully, the figures will go up in the latter half of Thursday.

Made on a budget of Rs. 45 crore (inclusive of Rs. 10 crore for promotions), "A Flying Jatt" may be able to break even over its first weekend. The Tiger-Jacqueline Fernandez starrer has already recovered Rs. 20 crore from its satellite rights deal.
