Deepika Padukone, lead actress of "Bajirao Mastani", says rumours that "Dilwale" Shah Rukh Khan was upset with her 'Challenge Accepted' comment is a case of an innocuous comment being 'blown out of proportion.'

It all started when SRK announced the release date of his film "Dilwale", which by sheer coincidence, clashes with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani".

Shah Rukh's "Diwale" featuring Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon is slated to be released on 18 December while, "Bajirao Mastani" starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will hit screens a week later, on 25 December.

SRK's announcement was responded by Deepika, when she shared her first look from her film and captioned it 'Challenge Accepted'. This was enought for rumour mongers to speculate that SRK was angry with her comment on Instagram.

But they were in for some disappointment when Deepika denied any such thing.

"The entire incident has been blown out of proportion and I am no one to decide when my film should release," India.com quoted Deepika as saying.

The report also quoted the actress as saying that Shah Rukh and she share a cordial relationship and SRK personally called her to congratulate her for the launch of her NGO, "Live, Laugh, Love."

It must be mentioned, Priyanka Chopra, who is another leading actress in "Bajirao Mastani", recently expressed unhappiness on Twitter due to the clash with "Dilwale".

During a Twitter chat session, one fan asked PeeCee if the release date of "Bajirao Mastani" could be postponed. The actress replied, "Not in my hands, unfortunately".
