The "Dilwale" and "Bajirao Mastani" clash news has been around for a while. Some reports said the films wouldn't compete, rest stated the makers aren't willing to reschedule the release dates of respective projects.

Shah Rukh Khan seems to have a solution to the problem. Talking to senior journalist Subhash K Jha, a source revealed the superstar had a closed-door meeting with one of the officials representing a popular production house regarding the big box-office clash.

"Kishore Lulla flew down to Los Angeles for a meeting with Shah Rukh Khan to discuss if Eros Entertainment could come on board for Dilwale, produced by SRK's Red Chillies and Rohit Shetty. Lulla discussed a potential collaboration on SRK's film," the insider further elaborated.

Since the mentioned production giant is already co-producing Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus, the collaboration with SRK's film could help keep the release date war at bay.

"Shah Rukh has, by far, the sharpest business sense among all the Bollywood superstars. There is no way he would allow Eros to come into Dilwale at this late stage until the deal is to his advantage," the source added.

Scheduled for release on 18 December, both films have a massive hype around them. While Sanjay's film looks grand and majestic in the trailer, Rohit Shetty's directorial will reunite one of Bollywood's most iconic onscreen pairs after 5 long years.
