An Israeli strike on an ambulance belonging to the Hezbollah-affiliated Islamic Health Committee killed a paramedic and his patient on Sunday, according to the group's spokesperson.

The incident came a day after at least nine first aid workers were killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese health ministry said around 47 emergency workers have been killed since the war began.

Bahrain said it has intercepted 174 missiles and 391 drones from Iran since the start of the conflict on February 28, according to an official statement.

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the United States and Israel of planning a "ground invasion" under the guise of diplomacy, warning that Tehran will not yield to pressure.

As quoted by Press TV, he said, "The enemy talks of negotiations but plans a ground invasion. The US seeks, in a 15-point list, what it couldn't achieve in war. Our forces are ready, and we will never be humiliated."

According to the Israel Broadcasting Authority, Iran launched three missiles at southern Israel. Two were intercepted, while one fell in an open area. Israeli radio reported that sirens sounded across the country 40 times in the past 24 hours, while Channel 12 said air defence systems intercepted incoming missiles with no injuries reported.

In remarks carried by IRNA, Ghalibaf also criticised US President Donald Trump for expressing willingness to negotiate while allegedly planning a ground attack, adding that Iranian forces are prepared for any escalation.

Meanwhile, Syria and the UAE condemned an attack targeting the residence of Kurdish region President Nechirvan Barzani. Syria's foreign ministry said the attack threatens stability in Iraq and the wider Middle East, reaffirming support for Iraq's territorial integrity. The UAE also expressed solidarity with Barzani, his family, and the Iraqi government.

The United States blamed Iran-linked groups in Iraq for the incident, while Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denounced the attack and accused the US and Israel of fuelling regional instability.

Separately, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates agreed to expand cooperation in defence amid ongoing Iranian drone attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during an unannounced visit to the UAE, said both sides would work together on security and anti-drone measures.

Ukraine has offered to share its expertise in countering drones, developed during its conflict with Russia, and has deployed specialists to Gulf countries, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Kyiv has also proposed exchanging its interceptor technology for advanced air defence systems used in the region.

The agreement comes as Iran continued to target Gulf nations. In Abu Dhabi, six people were injured after debris from a ballistic missile interception sparked fires near Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD). Authorities said emergency teams were responding to the incident.

Iran's military also claimed it targeted a US logistics vessel near the Omani port of Salalah, where one foreign worker was reported injured.

In a separate development, US-Israeli strikes hit a quay in the Iranian port city of Bandar Khamir near the strategic Strait of Hormuz on Sunday, killing five people and injuring four, according to Iranian state media.
