Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar is one of the highest-grossing Indian films. The film has crossed over Rs 1,200 crore and is inching towards entering the Rs 1,300 crore club. As the film continues to reach new heights, fans and celebrities have shared mixed reactions.

Some have called it a propaganda film, while many have praised director Aditya Dhar for having the guts to make a film that shows terrorism and the fight against terrorism. The film also highlights Pakistan's involvement in several terrorist activities. Set against an India-Pakistan backdrop, the film is still going steady in cinema halls.

Amid several applauds and reviews, on Wednesday, Aditya Chopra's production house, Yash Raj Films, came forward to praise Aditya Dhar and his team for setting a new benchmark in Indian cinema.

YRF took to its official Instagram page and wrote, "DHURANDHAR is not a film... It's a milestone moment in Indian cinema that will be remembered forever. Congratulations to Aditya Dhar and Jio Studios for becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time (in a single language)."

The production house continued and added, "As the captain of the ship, Aditya Dhar's clarity of purpose, fearless storytelling, and unwavering commitment to excellence have set a new benchmark for Indian cinema. We also congratulate every cast member and technician of this brilliant film for giving their all. You are the Dhurandhars who made the thought of the film explode so loudly and so gloriously on the big screen."

"Thank you for giving us a cinema that inspires us to strive forward in the pursuit of creative excellence," the note concluded.
