"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" actress Hina Khan has, for a long time, battled dating rumours but is now over it.
Talking to Hindustan Times (Mumbai, 13 January) about it, she said she doesn't really care about what people have to say about her photos with Jayant Jaiswal, supervising producer of her show.
"So, I don't care what people say. I will continue to post photos with him. There is nothing wrong in that. For the record, I am not dating anyone," the leading daily quoted her as saying. Elaborating further, she said that in her heart she knows the kind of equation she shares with him and that's enough for her.
"Someone recently told me that if we are best friends, we should not be scared of what people think. Our families know about us, so do our friends," she said, adding that she will announce it for the world to know once she decides to get married or be in a relationship.
Considering how private she is about her personal life, it's quite surprising she would get along with someone from the industry. "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" actress Divyanka Tripathi is one such person, among a few others, she's friends with.
"I only have non-actor friends. But I do know Deepika (Singh), Devoleena (Bhattacharya) and Divyanka (Tripathi), and keep meeting them at house parties organised by common friends," said Khan.
She also spoke of how she wishes to record an independent song soon. Her recent rendition of a bhajan and another song have been loved and appreciated by fans.
