Bollywood is scaling new heights with massive box office collections and the success of a movie is now measured on the basis of its income.

Earlier, reaching the ₹100 crore club was considered quite a feat, but now it's a cakewalk for them. However, to make films a blockbuster hit filmmakers have a new target ahead of them, which is to cross the ₹200 crore mark.

The ₹200 crore club was started in 2009 when Aamir Khan's "3 Idiots" earned ₹202 crore. The second movie to enter that elite club was "Chennai Express", but it took three years to join the group. Following that "Krrish 3" and "Dhoom 3" also surpassed the double century mark last year.

This year also we have very limited films entering the coveted club, starting with Salman Khan's "Kick". Salman made his debut in group this year with "Kick" earning ₹231.85 crore.

The next film is Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year", which entered the club after making a business of around ₹202 crore. "Happy New Year" is SRK's second film to enter the list.

Aamir dominates the ₹200 crore list with three films. "3 Idiots" was the first film and later "Dhoom 3" joined the league last year and now its "PK" (Peekay).

"PK" and "Dhoom 3" are the fastest ₹200 crore grosser in India. Aamir's film is still running in India and it is expected to cross ₹300 crore mark.
