Indigenous smartphone maker, Xolo has announced a new budget Android phone A510s in India via online.

The new Xolo A510S is touted to be the upgraded version of Xolo A500s, which was launched in August, last year. It comes packed with a number of enhancements in terms of build quality, display resolution and RAM capacity. The new phone sports a body with metallic finish and features 4.0-inch FWVGA IPS screen with 480x854p resolution.

Under the hood, Xolo A510s ships with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with Mali-400MP GPU. It houses 1GB physical memory, 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB), 5.0-megapixel camera, VGA camera on the front for video chat and 1400 mAh battery which can power the phone up to 13 hours talk time and close to 424 hours under standby mode.

Xolo A510s has been listed at the official company website with a price tag of ₹7,499, but the release date details of the phone are still under the wrap.

Last month, company had released mid-range quad-core handset Xolo Q1010 for just under ₹13,000. It sports 5.0-inch HD (1280x720p) IPS screen with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor backed by 500MHz Mali 400-MP2 graphics engine and 1GB RAM.
