Akshay Kumar's "Airlift" has earned over Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office, while Sunny Deol's "Ghayal Once Again" is inching towards Rs 50 crore mark.

Kumar's film "Airlift" continues to earn decent money from the overseas and domestic box office in its third week. Despite new releases, "Airlift" has managed to maintain a steady pace at the worldwide box office. The film, directed by Raja Menon, has earned Rs 215.16 crore gross income in 17-days.

The gross domestic box office collection of "Airlift" is Rs 173.91 crore, while the overseas 17-day income is Rs 41.25 crore.

"#Airlift [Week 3] Fri 2.03 cr, Sat 3.04 cr, Sun 3.34 cr, Mon 1.04 cr. Total: ₹ 121.74 cr. India biz. SUPER!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, adding," #Airlift Overseas total *till Weekend 3 - 7 Feb*: $ 6.06 million [$ 6,066,955 = ₹ 41.25 cr]."

"Airlift" is the first film of 2016 to earn more than Rs 200 crore mark at the box office and also the first hit film of this year. The film is now slowly moving towards Rs 250 crore, but it remains to be seen whether the film will maintain its hold after the release of "Sanam Re" and "Fitoor" on Friday.

Ghayal Once Again (Ghayal Returns)

The Deol-starrer is also enjoying its theatrical run in India as well as internationally. The gross worldwide box office collection of Deol's film is Rs 43.50 crore, which includes gross domestic income of Rs 38.36 crore and overseas earnings of Rs 5 crore.

"#GhayalOnceAgain maintains STRONG biz on Mon. Fri 7.20 cr, Sat 7.65 cr, Sun 8.40 cr, Mon 3.60 cr. Total: ₹ 26.85 cr. India biz," trade analyst Adarsh tweeted, adding, "#GhayalOnceAgain Overseas total: $ 734,157 [₹ 5 cr]. GOOD!"

The revenge drama is having a good run at the worldwide box office and it should cross Rs 50 crore by the end of its first week.
