Mysore, the third largest city in Karnataka, was once ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty. The major attractions of the city include the historic Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hills, Srirangapatna, Tipu Sultan fort, St Philomina's Church, Mysore Zoo and Brindavan Gardens, among others.
