
Salman Khan considered Dharmendra as his father. Even the legendary actor used to call Salman his "third son" after Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Not just Dharmendra's family members but even people from the film industry are still trying to come to terms with his death. Salman Khan was also seen struggling with his emotions during 'Weekend Ka Vaar'.
Salman gets emotional
Salman Khan was speaking to the contestants on 'Weekend Ka Vaar' where he spoke about how the last week was filled with prayers, wishes and tears. "Yeh hafta waisa hi jo guzara hai... woh mannatein maang kar, dua kar ke, prarthnayein karke, aansuon ke saath guzara hai (This past week has been very difficult on us — It went on with wishes and prayers, with devotion, and with tears)," he said.

Salman went on to say that the whole nation has received a big jolt and it is a bigg loss for the industry. He further said that he hoped he didn't have to shoot the Weekend Ka Vaar this week.
"Desh ko ek bohot hi bada jhatka laga hai. Fans ko bohot hi bada jhatka laga hai. Industry ko bada loss aur sadma pohocha hai. I guess aap samaj rahe hai main kinki baat kar raha hu. Anyway, God bless his soul. I wish ye hafte ka Weekend Ka Vaar main nahi kar raha hota," Khan said.

Salman Khan was on a recent tour in Doha - the 'Dabangg tour' where he had called the 'He Man' of Bollywood his fitness icon. The 'Tiger' actor had said that he used to have Dharmendra's pictures on his walls as he was the fittest actor back then. Salman had also hoped for the faster recovery of the 'Sholay' actor.
