Hrithik Roshan's 2017 film 'Kaabil' was declared a hit and continues to be an absolute fan favorite. While there were mixed reviews from the critics, the box office numbers spoke highly of the film. It is most certainly considered as one of Hrithik's finest performances, and he is still highly complimented for playing the role of a visually impaired voice artist, Rohan Bhatnagar, with absolute perfection.

The film showed Hrithik's character facing a brutal tragedy and then his journey of fighting for justice and avenging his wife's death. Well, as it turns out, there might be a sequel coming out for the film.

A journalist took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote heaps of praise for the film recently. The journalist conveyed that it was their top pick for a revenge thriller and looked forward to seeing a second part to the film.

The journalist wrote, "One of my absolute top picks as far as revenge thrillers go!@iHrithik in top form as a blind protagonist in this excellent@_SanjayGupta cliffhanger. my only question is WHEN do we get to see #Kaabil2 ! #muchawaited"

Filmmaker Sajay Gupta replied to the journalist in very few words, but those few words were enough to intrigue the fans of the film. Gupta replied, saying, "IT'S R E FLA D Y ! ! ! And this time far DEADELLIER!!!!"

Fans expressed their thoughts and excitement in the comment section of the tweet. A netizen eagerly questioned, "Someone decode this word please "R E FLA D Y"" while another wrote, "@grok What is R E FLA D Y mentioned by Sanjay Gupta Sir in this post?"

A comment read, "News of the year" while another read, "Rohan Bhatnagar is Back."

Mostly the fans were in disbelief that there could be a possibility of a sequel and hence several comments on the X thread read, "bruh don't joke around like that, we know we got nothing", "Are you seriously making it with HR?" "Today is not April 1st" assuming it to be a joke and so on.

Around 2025, in one of the promotional videos for a Netflix special called The Roshans, Hrithik did mention Kaabil's name when asked which of his films deserved to get a sequel. Gupta's 'Kaabil' also featured Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy in pivotal roles.
