WickedLeaks on Thusday announced that its Wammy Passion Y phablet will get Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update on Saturday.

According to the company, the new orders and the shipment of the quad-core Wammy Passion Y phablet will be come with the new Android 4.2 update. The update will ensure an improved and fast performance on the device with the addition of new features like smarterkey board, Google Now, swipe/gesture typing, GPS info, improved camera features and GPS info. The device will also have enabled wireless display and Day Dream mode.

The Wammy Passion Y device sports a 5-inch HD IPS multi touch capacitive touchscreen display with 1280x720 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor. The phone is available for₹16,999 through the company's official website.

The device packs an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for video calling. It also includes 1GB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. The phone supports connectivity features like Bluetooth, WIFI and 3G and packs a 2800 mAh battery.

WickedLeaks' Wammy Titan II is also expected to get the Jelly Bean update soon.The company launched its Wammy Titan II for ₹13,990 in March. It comes with a 5.3-inch IPS display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz MediaTek's MTK 6589 quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU.
