Radhika Sarathkumar has revealed that Latha Rajinikanth's brother Ravi Raghavendra once mistook that Rajinikanth was secretly dating her and chased them during a bike ride.
Radhika and Rajinikanth is one of the most revered onscreen romantic couple. They have acted together in nine notable Tamil and Telugu films including Pokkiri Raja (1982), Ranga (1982), Moondru Mugam (1982), Anbulla Rajinikanth (1984), Nallavanukku Nallavan (1984), and Oorkavalan (1987).
In a recent interview, Radhika Sarathkumar spoke about her association with Rajinikanth and how the actor once took her on a bike ride. She said, "On a calm night, Rajinikanth took me on his bike and rode around the city of Chennai. During that ride, he shared stories about the difficult days he faced before becoming famous in cinema."
During this bike ride, Rajinikanth revealed his struggle as an actor. Radhika said, "As we travelled, he showed me many places and said, "This is where I used to sleep, this is where I stayed, this is where I ate," pointing out the places from his past. Many people struggle in life, but that day I truly understood that Rajinikanth is someone who rose from the ground up through pain, patience, and hard work."
During this ride, they were chased by Latha Rajinikanth's brother. The actress said, "In this emotional moment, an unexpected twist occurred. While we were riding the bike, a car suddenly came at high speed, cut across us, and blocked our way. For a moment, I was scared. The person who got out of the car was none other than Ravi Raghavendra — Latha Rajinikanth's brother and the father of music composer Anirudh."
Ravi Raghavendra had mistaken that the two were secretly dating each other. Radhika said, "He had misunderstood the situation, thinking that Rajinikanth was secretly going out. However, Latha already knew that I was with Rajinikanth. Ravi Raghavendra, unaware of this, had chased us without knowing the truth."
