West Brom vs Manchester United always reminds us of Sir Alex Ferguson's final game as the Red Devils manager, back in May 2013. The historic game at the Hawthorns ended 5-5, not something Ferguson must have liked as he was never content with United getting a draw. Nevertheless, the 1500th match for Ferguson as the Manchester United manager remained special and an integral part of the Premier League history book.

Fast forward to three years, we have a completely new set up. Manchester United, unfortunately, are not that lethal a team as they used to be, Paul Pogba is back, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is with United and most importantly, Jose Mourinho is the Manchester United manager.

For West Brom, there is also no Romelu Lukaku -- the hattrick man in that historical game -- as he has moved to Everton. Nevertheless, the clash between West Brom and United will indeed remain special. Super Saturday will be no exception.

Manchester United are sixth in the Premier League points table at the moment, with 27 points from 16 games. West Brom, meanwhile, are seventh, with 23 points bagged so far.

Eric Bailly and Henrik Mkhitaryan are not available to take part in the game for United, while former United defender Jonny Evans, who currently plays for West Brom, also remains a doubt.

United are unbeaten in their seven Premier League games, so that does come as a ray of hope for Mourinho. With three PL matches to go this calendar year, the focus remains on continuing that unbeaten record. "What we have to try and do in these three remaining matches is to try to be in a position that gives us a chance in the second half of the season," Mourinho was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"We are playing really well. If we can transform performances into results we'll have a chance."
