Television actors Vikas Manaktala and Gunjan Walia are all set to walk down the aisle. The wedding will take place in Chandigarh on April 21.

Vikas Manaktala and Gunjan Walia met each other at an event management office in 2012. Having lost touch for six months, the couple suddenly bumped into each in the middle of the road and became friends thereafter. Their friendship later gave way to love. "We became the best of friends and eventually fell in love in 2014," The Times of India quoted Gunjan as saying.

After seeking their parents' approval, Vikas and Gunjan exchanged engagement rings in September 2014. Their engagement, which was held in Delhi, was a private affair and was attended by close friends and family only. The couple have now finalised a date of their wedding.

Vikas and Gunjan reportedly plan to tie the knot at a private ceremony in Chandigarh. It will be a three-day wedding event. The pre-wedding functions will include mehndi, cocktail and haldi. The couple is all excited to start a new life together.

"The wedding falls on Akshay Tritiya, an auspicious day for Hindus. I am getting the jitters as I can't believe I will be his wife in two months. The date was finalised just three days back," said Gunjan. "I am looking forward to start the new innings of my life with this beautiful person I am blessed to be with. I am nervous and excited at the same time," she added.

Starting his career as a ramp model, Vikas Manaktala has featured in a Reid and Taylor ad with Amitabh Bachchan and a Videocon ad with Shahrukh Khan. The Mr India pageant winner made his acting debut with Sab TV serial "Left Right Left". He was later seen in Sony India's show "Main Naa Bhoolungi".
