Watch Video: MS Dhoni silently enjoys the cake as RPS players celebrate cake-smashing

It has become a trend in sports, where players' birthdays are celebrated with not only a simple cutting of the cake, but is finished off with some cake smash on one's face. The same was witnessed during Rising Pune Supergiant's player Saurabh Kumar's birthday celebration on Monday, while centurion Ben Stokes also got his face smashed with the cake for his outstanding performance against Gujarat Lions.

However, not everyone seems to be a big fan of the cake smash. MS Dhoni is certainly one such player, who prefers to eat the cake, rather than wasting it by applying on someone's face.

On Monday, when the RPS players seemed to be interested in the cake smash, Dhoni is least bothered as he somehow gets hold of the chocolate layer slab on the top of the cake (it seems in the video) and eat that silently. The video shows Dhoni in the background, silently taking a bite, and then another one as well when others are busy in their cake smash act.

However, this is not the first time when Dhoni seems to have shown a particular interest towards his love for cakes. A couple of weeks ago, the former RPS skipper was caught, asking his fellow RPS players to eat the cake as it is good.

Such kind of things certainly makes us realise that he is a big cake fan, and prefers to melt the cake inside his mouth rather than smearing it on someone's face.
