A new video of BMW G 310 R has started doing the rounds on the internet, this time giving a pretty clear idea of the sound and the road presence of the model.

A lot has already been said about the German motorcycle manufacture BMW's latest offering, the G 310 R. The model was spied testing in different parts of the world.

The latest video, which was uploaded on YouTube, shows the G 310 R racing along with its rivals Yamaha MT-03, the KTM Duke 390 and the Kawasaki Z300.

The G 310 R has been keeping the biking enthusiasts in India on the tenterhooks for quite some time now and it now looks like the wait got little longer as the latest reports suggest that the company is facing supply issues. The BMW G 310 R is now expected to make its entry in the Indian market in 2017.

For the uninitiated, the G 310 R, the first sub 500cc motorcycle of the German bike maker BMW Motorrad, will be manufactured at the TVS Motor facility in Tamil Nadu. The motorcycle is jointly developed by Indo-German alliance BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company. It is the first BMW motorcycle to be manufactured outside Europe.

Powering the G 310 R is an all-new 313cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection, the G 310 R can churn out a power of 33.5bhp at 9,500rpm and maximum torque of 28Nm at 7,500rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. It employs a 300mm disc brake at the front, and 240mm at the rear. It features front upside down forks and mono shock suspension at the rear. According to a report of Autocar professional, the motorcycle of BMW will get Michelins tyres in India. Global tyre major Michelin is planning to expand its reach in the India market and is planning to increase the availability of the products and the dealerships in the country.

In India, the BMW G 310 R will be pitted against KTM Duke 390 and Mahindra Mojo.
